Jazz Fest is in full gear...so here it goes!
Okay start off your day at the Louisiana Music Factory (201 Decatur) for their annual in-store Jazz Fest concerts...here's the line-up for today!! Click on the link above for the complete Fest line-up:

You need more amazing music...no problem....go right across the street! It's WWOZ Piano Night at the House of Blues (225 Decatur)!! With greats like Marcia Ball, Henry Gray, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Carol Fran and many more, Piano Night is going to be a key-pounding good time! Piano Night is the flagship benefit for WWOZ 90.7FM and has become a tradition among New Orleans music lovers and loyal fans all over the world. Held each year on the Monday night between the two New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival weekends, Piano Night features New Orleans' best piano players and a host of special guests to put on a one-of-a-kind benefit concert for WWOZ!! And then you've got the Tipitina's 10th Annual "Instruments A Comin" today from 5:00pm - 12:30am at Tipitina's Uptown (501 Napolean Avenue)....The outdoor festival kicks off at 5 p.m. with an epic battle of marching bands, followed by hours of entertainment with Galactic + Big Sam's Funky Nation + Ivan Neville + Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave + many more!! General admission and VIP tix available.....VIP ticket includes upstairs balcony access, open bar from 5pm - 12am, and complimentary food from some of New Orleans' great restaurants, as well as access to the Tchoup House. Head down Frenchmen Street to d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) for three great shows!! It's Luke Winslow King at 5:00 pm, the Tin Men at 8:00 pm and stay on for Glen David Andrews at 9:00 pm!
Be sure to make a stop by the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) early for this great line-up of music....Brett Richardson at 4:00 pm, Dominic Grillo and The Frenchmen Street All Stars at 6:00 pm and be sure to stay on for the Jazz Vipers at 10:00 pm.....it's sure to be another smokin' Monday evening show. (There's no cover...but remember to tip the band and your bartender!)
Head on down to Mid City for even more music at Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) with two amazing shows tonight...Spencer Bohren gets things rolling at 6:00 pm ($10 cover) and piano player (and sometimes guitar man) John Cleary is at 9:00 pm ($15 in advance, $17.50 online and $20 cash at the door)...make sure to click on the link above for all of Chickie's great Jazz Fest line-up!!
