Fun in NOLA on Thursday!

Good Morning Everybody,

Almost TGIF!!  Here's some good stuff going on today!

Thursday Events

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle (3700 Orleans ) about 5:00 pm in Mid-City and the tasting is free - check out their amazing South African wine flight today!!  And be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more! 

Need some culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art - better known as Ogden after Hours.  The concert starts up at 6:00 pm. with Lars Edegran and Tom Sancton Edegran is a Dixieland jazz musician and bandleader who often plays piano, guitar or banjo; Sancton is a jazz clarinetist, whose mentor was the legendary clarinetist George Lewis.....so come on down for some music, culture, fun and cocktails....don't miss it!!  (Members get in free!)

Go hang out at City Park this evening for The Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series for Tim Laughlin!!! The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out..so....it's a good thing...$8 for adults and $3 for children.

Head on over to Frenchmen Street for an amazing double header of music at dba (618 Frenchmen)...it's piano man Jon Cleary at 7:00 pm and stay on for Funkifry'd at 10:00 pm with a low low cover of $5!!

While on Frenchmen move on down to the Three Muses (536 Frenchmen) for the sounds of Luke Winslow King with Jon Gross & Mike Voelker at 7:00 pm - the music will get you movin' on into the weekend with no problems and they got yummy food too!
