Tuesday with Brass, Eclectic Grooves and Aloha Music!

Happy Tuesday Everybody - There's some crazy good music going on for a Tuesday (plus eat your veggies!!)

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even get some lunch! Chef Mark Quitney of styley downtown restaurant 5 Fifty 5 (named for its address on Canal Street) heads Uptown to dish out debronzed redfish with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted peppers, super creamy lobster mac, heirloom bread salad and assorted sweets .....yummy!!

The Candlelight Lounge (925 N. Robertson) is having a non-stop evening of music...check out the line-up!  You're not gonna want to miss this one!

  • Treme Brass Band with special guest at 9:00 pm
Keep celebrating the music this evening when Anxious Sound & Open Ears Music Series present: Tatsuya Nakatani/Donald Miller and The Rob Cambre Trio tonight at 10 p.m. over at The Blue Nile (upstairs - 532 Frenchmen Street).  Check out the T-P article on this eclectic group - Wow!!

If you were wishin' you were in Hawaii right now...(and hey, who doesn't want to be in Hawaii?)  You can get your fix of Hawaiian music with a New Orleans groove over at the Balcony Music Club (1331 Decatur) tonight at 8:30 pm...Aloha!
