Okay it's the last day at the Louisiana Music Factory (201 Decatur) for their annual in-store Jazz Fest concerts...here's the line-up for today!!  This is truly the best way to cap off your Jazz Fest Weekend!

The trio has been the best selling show so far. Tickets available at the door for both shows!   And don't forget they got yummy food with Taceaux Loceaux over there too!

And you can't celebrate your Jazz Fest without celebrating at  Rock 'N Bowl (3016 S. Carrollton)!  Get an entree' over at Ye Olde College Inn and then get a half price ticket to the show right next door at Rock N' Bowl....Tonight at 8:30 pm they've got Amanda Shaw and Glen David Andrews..what a show!!

With greats like Marcia Ball, Henry Gray, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Carol Fran and many more, Piano Night is going to be a key-pounding good time!  Piano Night is the flagship benefit for WWOZ 90.7FM and has become a tradition among New Orleans music lovers and loyal fans all over the world. Hikin', Crawfish and Record Store Celebrations!!

Good Morning it's a beautiful Saturday and time to play outside!!

Hike the Lafitte Corridor will take place today at 10:00 a.m. departing from Basin Street near Armstrong Park. Since establishment, each year Friends ofLafitte Corridor (FOLC) holds a hike where they lead the communitythrough the three-mile stretch of vacant land that will soon be transformed into a greenway. The greenway will link the followingneighborhoods: the French Quarter, Tremé, Mid-City, Faubourg St. John, City Park and Lakeview. This event is FREE and open to the public (registration is encouraged).

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even get some lunch!  Chef Alon Shaya of John Besh's Domenica (Italian for Sunday) is back at the market today with cannellini bean soup with the Monica's fava beans and Creole tomato bruschetta, Ryals Farm spicy goat meatballs over polenta with spring onions, ricotta agnolotti with Jim Core's greens, Smith Creamery butter and lemon, and Johndale Farm strawberry zuppa inglese with white chocolate... ....yummy!!

Looking to get your art on this evening...well we have just the thing for you!!  “Bottles, Brushes with Degas”: A Painting and Pouring Experience at the Degas House (2306 Esplanade)!   Beginning at 6:30 PM, this one of a kind event provides artists and non-artists the opportunity to come and be inspired where Degas lived - tonight paint a beautiful Degas ballerina.  All you need to bring is a little creativity and a positive attitude.  Come a little early and enjoy the social hour at 5:30 pm....Cost is $40 and for more info and reservations call (504) 821-5009 or email: info@degashouse.com.

It's gonna be a great evening to hang out at the The Columns (3811 St. Charles Ave.)...Have a cocktail and listen to the amazing trio of John Rankin and Evan Christopher at 8:00 pm...it's a beautiful night for moon gazing and porch sippin'!

You got to go to Mid-City tonight to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) to enjoy the amazing Grayson Capps at 8:00 pm!!  If you have never checked Grayson out (and especially if you have) you really need to head out for this great evening of music!!  And don't forget they got some yummy food over there too!

You definitely need to stay up a little late tonight...for the big REBIRTH BRASS BAND cd release party tonight around 9:30 pm (NOLA time) at the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street.....it's gonna be one amazing night of music!!
