Come out and show your support for New Orleans' own - The Honeypots as they perform at 7:00 p.m. tonight at The Howlin' Wolf (907 S. Peters) as part of a band competition where the lovely ladies are in the running for $15,000 with bands from all over the country. The event is being filmed for reality series too. Please come out to support and show them some love NOLA love!

Check out the Musically Speaking Movie Series - "Musically Speaking" is a series of music-themed movies and documentaries, curated and hosted by DJ Soul Sister taking place in every Monday in August at Cafe Istanbul (New Orleans Healing Center - 2372 St. Claude). Tuesday w/Tamales on T.V., Sea Shanty Singin' & Trivia w/Music!

Good Morning Everybody and Happy Tuesday!!

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and get some yummy lunch under the Green Plate Special Tent.  I'm not sure who the food vendor is this month, but I'm sure it will be good fresh eatin'!

Want to be on t.v. and eat some delicious tamales too!  Then get your booty over to 45 Tchoup (4529 Tchoupitoulas) and support our friends from Mamitas Hot Tamales!  The British Version of the Hairy Bikers will be there filming about 7:00ish. Come get a cold one, a cocktail or a glass of wine and get some New Orleans History you can Taste!! Who knows, if you haven't tried them yet, you may get free sample!!
