Movie Fun!

The NOLA Japanese Cinema Series at Cafe Istanbul (2372 St. Claude Avenue) continues with tonight's film Tamami, The Baby's Curse - As a teenager, Yoko discovers that she is not really an orphan when her wealthy but very strange family welcomes her home to a mansion that many claim is haunted. Japanese with English subtitles.

Monday Night Music!

If you're looking for some great Irish food and fun head on over to The Irish House (1432 St. Charles Ave.).  They've got an amazing happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and stay on for an Irish Music Jam at 7:00 pm!

Head on Uptown and enjoy some cocktails over at the Columns Hotel (3811 St. Charles)....Tonight David Doucet of BeauSoleil fame performs at 8:00 pm!

There's good times in Mid-City over at Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal). It's Arsene DeLay & Tom McDermott at 8:00 pm!

Enjoy your Monday even more with a happy hour over at the Circle Bar (1032 St. Charles Ave.) with music from Missy Meatlocker at 6:00 pm!!

There's fun at d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) - Come on down for Glen David Andrews and his Monday gig at 10:00 pm!

Be sure to make a stop by the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) early for this great line-up of music...Sarah McCoy and the Oopsie Daisies at 4:00 pm, Dominick Grillo and The Frenchmen Street All Stars at 6:00 pm and be sure to stay on for the Jazz Vipers at 10:00 pm!

And stop into Snug Harbor (626 Frenchmen) for one of the longest running performers in NOLA - It's Monday night with the Charmaine Neville Band at 8:00 pm - Yes, there's a cover, but Charmaine is worth every penny!  While you're there get a Monsoon (watch out their dangerous) and one of the best burgers in town!

To top off you're evening....you gotta go Uptown and over to the Maple Leaf (8316 Oak) for Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes at 10:00 pm - they'll have you rockin' into the night!
