You can enjoy the famous char-grilled oysters from Drago's or Baked Alaska from Antoine's. Stop by the Beacon Beverage booth to enjoy a refreshing libation from an array of thirst quenchers. **Cancelled - Rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, April 25th** Swing in the Oaks - the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual FREE concert in New Orleans City Park on the Goldring-Woldenberg Great Lawn at 6:30 pm. The concert features orchestra favorites. Bring your own chairs, picnics, drinks, etc. for an enchanted evening under the oaks in the magnificent New Orleans City Park! LPO music director Carlos Miguel Prieto will lead the orchestra and the concert will feature the Marine Corps Band of New Orleans.

It's a Grand Opening Celebration!!! The newest Dat Dog location at 3336 Magazine Street will hold a grand opening featuring complimentary Dat Dog samples and select draft beer on the house!! Be there for the ribbon cutting with City Council woman, Latoya Cantrell at 5:45 p.m! The second location of the beloved hot dog emporium houses an outdoor beer garden and seated patio, and offers the same artisan hot dogs, low prices and Laissez les bons temps rouler attitude as the original Freret Street hotspot. The Magazine St. location is open Sunday -Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Come eat a dog!

It's gonna be a great night for a movie. Check out the Musically Speaking Movie Series - "Musically Speaking" is a series of music-themed movies and documentaries, curated and hosted by DJ Soul Sister taking place in every Monday in August at Cafe Istanbul (New Orleans Healing Center - 2372 St. Claude). WWOZ is proud to co-sponsor Musically Speaking on Mondays, curated and co-hosted by Soul Sister, and co-presented by Press Street and the Charitable Film Network. Start celebarting the 4th a little early with some patriotic music in a most beautiful setting.  The Marine and Navy Band’s from New Orleans will be performing two joint FREE concerts to celebrate Independence Day. The concerts will be today and tomorrow at 7:00 pm at the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square.  What a great way to start off your holiday!
