It's Still a Super Sunday

The Mardi Gras Indians may have canceled until next Sunday, but it's still a Super Sunday!

Fun Sunday Events

If you haven't gotten your fill of cabbage, garlic, potatoes and kisses for flowers - than do not fear!!  The Irish Italian Parade start today at Noon on the traditional Metairie parade route.

Earth Fest continues at the Audubon Zoo with games, food, crafts and entertainment by John Mooney & Bluesiana at1:00pm – 2:30pm and The Blue Meanies from 3:00pm – 4:30pm.  A good time to celebrate Mother Earth and see all the zoo wonders!

Los Islenos Fiesta continues today in St. Bernard at 1357 Bayou Road.  It will be another fun filled day of Islenos food, music and dancing, crafts and exhibits!!

LA/SPCA Dog Day Afternoon A festival for dogs and their people with music, food, contests and prizes - from 10:30 to 4:00.  This is a fun event for you and your four legged friend.  Come out enjoy the beautiful day!!

The Louisiana Children's Museum is FREE THIS SUNDAY (and every 3rd Sunday of the month)!!  Explore the Children's Museum -  thanks to Target for being a sponsor.

Sunday Music

Nickel-A-Dance at La Maison, 508 Frenchmen St., The New Leviathan Oriental Fox Trot Orchestra performs at 4:00 pm and it's FREE!

Tipitina's Uptown has Bruce Daigrepoint Cajun Fais Do-Do at 5:30 so you can get your Cajun dancing on!
