Hump Day!

Good Morning Everybody,

It's another Wednesday...and another busy day so, let's get going!!

Wednesday Events

Start off your afternoon right with a fun event sponsored by Tales of the Cocktail......The fun begins in "the Attic" at Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant for the Native Spirits Preview Party at 4:30 pm.  Locals get the first sips of the official cocktail of this year's festival while you can preview the Spirited Dinner® series, spirited seminars, and parties that are in store this summer. Stop by for a drink, food and register to win prizes including a Native Spirits pass, the the locals-only package for Tales of the Cocktail.

After your Spirits Party....stroll on down to Lafayette Square for the next event......  Wednesday at the Square kicks off this afternoon at 5:00 pm with the Creole String Beans & Cowboy Mouth.  Be sure to bring some extra dollars for food, libations and cool art purchasing!

Don't feel like heading downtown....no problem...stay in the Uptown/Mid-City area and check out the Edible New Orleans Spring Issue Relase Party...there will be fabulous food, drink and music for the low low price of only $10...Click on the link for more info about this exciting event!

Looking to do something a little more arty this evening....then head on down to the New Orleans Museum of Art for this cool show at 6 pm in the Stern Auditorium.  The Quintron and Miss Pussycat exhibition is going on and there will be a presentation of 2 videos, "Electric Swamp" (2005) and a new work "Spirit Hair" (2010), the eleventh episode of the series "Trixie and the Treetrunks" followed by a Q & A with Panacea Theriac (Miss Pussycat).  This event is open to the public, and FREE to all, with a cash bar.
