The Gericas are back for the last week of their stint at the GPS tent this month. Join the Market in this celebration of the freshest seafood you could desire, as they serve up salad with crabmeat, fish plate with a your choice of squash and zucchini or baked macaroni, shimp pasta, homemade pound cake and homemade angel food cake and blueberry lemonade....Yum!

Head on over to Mid-City and to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal)! They've got the Sweet Olive String Band at 5:00 pm, and be sure to stay on for Tommy Malone and Tom Marron on guitar and Bill Malchow on piano at 8:00 pm - come hungry for delicious pizza, pasta, salads and more!!
There's some fun on Frenchmen tonight too over at d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) with the Treme Brass Band at 9:00 pm - there's a $5 cover, but that's practically free!
Right down the street the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) has a triple header with no cover - Andy Forest at 4:00 pm, Meschiya Lake & The Little Big Horns at 6:00 pm, and top off the evening with Aurora and the Royal Roses at 10:00 pm!
End your night over at the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street...with the Grammy Award winning REBIRTH Brass Band they come on around 10:30ish - there's a cover, but you'll be glad you paid and stayed up late!!
