Celebrate Flag Day with Veggies and Music!

Happy Flag Day Everybody!! 

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even grab some lunch!  Susan Spicer's Mondo is cooking each Tuesday in June at the Market.....on the menu: vegetable curry with basamati rice and goat yogurt, pickled shrimp and heirloom tomato salad and cookies for dessert.. ....yummy!!

Good Stuff Tonight!

It's gonna be a great evening to hang out at the The Columns (3811 St. Charles Ave.)...Have a cocktail and listen to the amazing John Rankin at 8:00 pm...it's a lovely night for porch sippin'!

Head on over to Mid-City and Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for Trevor Reichman at 8:00 pm..it's gonna be a great night for music...plus come hungry for the delicioso Taceaux Loceaux!

There's a triple header over at the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) starting up at 4:00 pm with Brett Richardson, then stay on for Smokin' Time Jazz Club at 6:00 pm, and finish off the night with The Davis Rogan Band at 10:00 pm!!

You need to go by the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street for the early show with the 101 Drummers with special guest Big Chief Monk Boudreaux!!!  And make sure you stay up late for the REBIRTH Brass Band they come on around 10:30ish - stay up a little late tonight!!
