During the week of September 12-18, 2011, more than thirty local restaurants will offer two-course lunches for $20 and three-course dinners for $35. Need a little more art, culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours. The concert starts up at 6:00 pm with John Sinclair author, poet and activist. It's also Ogden Nightcap time again at the d.o.c.s. gallery! Go hang out at City Park this evening for The Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series with Don Vappie! The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out..so....it's a good thing...$8 for adults and $3 for children.
Tonight is the kick-off of Live at Lafreniere Park (3000 Downs Blvd.) at 6:00 pm with The Bucktown Allstars. They'll have the LSU game on a 9' x 12' video wall with plenty of frosty beverages and delicious food available. Look for the huge stage on the island, and the best part? . . .Admission is FREE!!! Kids and pets are welcome too!

Spotted Cat Music Club (623 Frenchmen) has a triple header too with Brent Richardson at 4:00 pm, Miss Sophie Lee at 6:00 and celebrate the Tigers win with The New Orleans Moonshiners at 10:00 PM!!
