Celebratin' Saturday with 1/2 Way to St. Patrick's Day !!

Come out and eat some BBQ for a great cause with Q'n For Kids! today from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Palmer Park (S. Claiborne and S. Carrollton) to benefit www.eachonesaveone.org/events....There's Free Admission and all this cool stuff!!

- $10 BBQ sample pass from 11am-2pm
- Dedicated children's area with fun activities & NOFD Fire Prevention Exhibition
- Vendor booths and promotional products available
- Beer, soft drinks, water and food sold
- Entertainment by DJ LUKE
- Games and Raffles with lots of great prizes

Head down to the Quarters for a triple header of great shows over the Louisiana Music Factory (210 Decatur) - John Sinclair at 2:00 pm, Christian Serpas and Ghost Town at 3:00 pm and Michael Hurtt and His Haunted Hearts at 4:00 pm!!

Right down the street you can catch the Tribute to Satchmo at the National Historical Park Visitor Center (916 N. Peter) - Clive Wilson's Satchmo Serenade leads athe band in a musical tribute to Louis Armstrong from 2:00 to 3:30 pm!

Celebrate Half-Way to St. Patrick's Day!!

It's that time of year again over at Pat O'Brien's (718 St. Peter) - it's the Semi-Annual Saint Patrick's Day Party. There's gonna be music on the Patio with The Wise Guys from 4pm to 7pm. Amazing Irish food Specials in the Restaurant and $3 Jameson, $3 Fuzzy Leprechauns and $3 Guinness! Erin Go Braugh - Half the there!!

The Kerry Irish Pub (331 Decatur) is Celebrating Halfway To St. Patrick's Day too - All Weekend Long!! with Irish music & Jameson drink specials. Come Party with us until The Wee Hours.....Today: Speed the Mule w/Paul Tobin at 5pm and Rites of Passage at 9:00 pm and Sunday: Traditional Irish Sessions at 5pm with the Crescent City Celtic Band at 8:00 pm!

More Irish celebrating with the Grand Opening of the The Irish House (1432 St. Charles Ave.)tonight from 7:00 to 9:00 pm!! Come help out Chef Matt Murphy with the grand opening celebration with a 7:15 Traditional Irish Blessing at 7:15 pm, and Horse & Carriage Delivery of Guinness at 7:30 pm and music by the Crescent City Celtic Band!!
