Wednesday with Culture, Fashion, Art & Music!

Good Morning Everybody! What a beautiful early Fall day with lots of good stuff going on!

Tonight is Culture Collsion 3 and the opening of the New Orleans cultural season from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the New Orleans Museum of Art.  Museum admission will be free and their will be free specialty drinks and food, with additional cash bars throughout the  Museum.  The after-party tradition continues this year even bigger and better this year with the a festive party in the Sculpture Garden from 8:00 to 10:00  pm.  Culture Collision 3 is sponsored by WWNO and organized by the Arts Council of New Orleans, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, New Orleans Ballet Association, New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans Opera Association, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art and Southern Rep.

Take in the hottest styles at Fashion with a Twist tonight at Mike's on the Avenue (628 St. Charles Ave.) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. - Enjoy complimentary Ciroc cocktails and gourmet appetizers while viewing the hottest looks from Vernon! This fun evening is brought to you by Glam Squad and Niki Walker Salon...Be sure to stay on for live music after the show with Robin Barnes!

Experience an Evening of Cultural Indulgences at the JW Marriott Lobby Lounge (614 Canal Street)from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The featured artist this week is L'Tanya Clark with non-objective abstract paintings . More Wednesday Evening Music

Have more fun in Mid-City when you head on over to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for an amazing night of music with Tom McDermott & Meschiya Lake at 8:00 pm...and of course come early and hungry for the Taceaux Loceaux!  There's might be a cover - but the music is worth it!

Hang out in Mid-City for all kinds of good stuff tonight - first stop Banks Street Bar (4401 Banks) for a double header with Micah Mckee's Songwriters' Showcase at 8:00 pm, and stay on for some Major Bacon and some FREE BLTs - tonight at 10:00 can never get enough of the bacon and no cover!!

This one's pretty darn close to Mid-City - so if you're looking for some dinner and then some music for dessert  Rock 'N Bowl (3016 S. Carrollton) can help you out!  Get an entree' over at Ye Olde College Inn and then get a half price ticket to the show right next door at Rock N' Bowl....Tonight's gonna be groovin' with Johnny J and Derek Huston at 8:30 pm - it's another fun night of rockin' and bowlin'!!
