Bon Operatit! consists of New Orleans opera singersLauren Mouney Gisclair, Jesse Nolan, and Mary Penick Akin. From La Boheme to Phantom of the Opera,they perform a perfect pairing of opera and musical theatre hits that are sure to invigorate the senses. Don't miss it! Need a little art, culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours. Tonight the Ogden presents Caleb Elliot with Sam Broussard - Caleb mixes guitar, cello and voice, performing original songs that are worldly but still feel like home. For this show, Grammy-nominated guitarist, vocalist and singer/songwriter Sam Broussard of Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys will appear with Elliot! Tonight the O BAR's specialty drink is Lemonade with a Twist -- Celebrate the last hot days of summer weather with this refreshing mix of lemonade and mango juices with vodka.

Top off your evening at Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for the Honeypots at 8:00 pm! They'll have their CD, "Something Sweet" available. Erin Go Braugh Thursday w/Pre-St. Paddy's Day Fun!!

Parasol's/Tracey's Block Party!
10:00 a.m. til 7:00 (or whenever ;) The Annual celebration in the Irish Channel - corner of Third and Constance Streets. Lots o' green beer!
The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Club
This a great event!! It's a benefit block party from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Annunciation Square Playground, directly in front of St. Michael's Special School; to whom the proceeds of the block will be donated - so be sure to drink a lot o' beer and eat a lot o' food.
And if you're not able to sneak out of work early for the green beer - no worries, there's plenty o'stuff happenin' after 5:00 pm!!

As a vocalist Phillip has recorded and performed with such notable musical talents as Aaron Neville, Patti Labelle, Dr. John, Joe Sample, Jon Hendricks, and many others. The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out...$10 for adults and $3 for children (it was $3 last year :)
Need a little art, culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours. Tonight the Ogden has blues man John Mooney. A master of the Delta Blues, John Mooney has developed his own distinctive guitar and vocal style. Since 1981, he has been touring with his group, the Bluesiana Band, performing all around the world! Be sure to head on over to the bar for this month's signature cocktail the - The Blarney Stone: A combination of Jameson Irish Whiskey and other flavors will definitely give you the gift of gab! Remember if you're a member of the Ogden you always get in free!
If you get there a little early head by the Circle Bar right around the corner on Lee's Circle for some great drinks!! And stop by after the Ogden too for Bantam Foxes with Denton Hatcher at 10:00 pm!

They'll have the LSU game on a 9' x 12' video wall with plenty of frosty beverages and delicious food available. Look for the huge stage on the island, and the best part? . . .Admission is FREE!!! Kids and pets are welcome too!

Tonight the Louisiana Landmarks Society and the New Orleans' Nine Selection Committee invite you to a reception for the 2011 New Orleans' Nine Most Endangered Sites from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Pitot House (1440 Moss St.) Modeled on the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Most Endangered program, Louisiana Landmarks implemented our own list of the most endangered historic resources in New Orleans in 2005. This event is free and open to the public!

There's lots of good stuff on Frenchment Street with another great evening full of music at the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) with Brett Richardson at 4:00 p.m., Zazzou City at 6:00 p.m., and to top off the night with The New Orleans Moonshiners at 10:00 p.m.!
Theres's fun night waiting for you over at dba (618 Frenchmen) with the Colin Lake Trio at 10:00 pm for a low low cover of only $5 and be sure to check out their yummy beer selections!!
While on Frenchmen move on down to the Three Muses (536 Frenchmen) for the Ben Polcer Group at 7:30 pm - the music will get you movin' on into the weekend and they got yummy food too!
