Harvest the Music Starts Today!!!!

Good Morning Everybody,

Check it out..... It's the start of the 2010 HARVEST THE MUSIC CONCERT SERIES PRESENTED BY HANCOCK BANK!!!!

A free concert series benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans & Acadiana....Every WEDNESDAY, September 15-November 3 from 5:00 pm to  7:30 pm at LAFAYETTE SQUARE!!
In addition to a free, weekly concert, concert-goers will enjoy food and drinks for purchase (no outside food or drinks, please) from local favorites including: Rouses, Beaucoup Juice Snoballs, Crepes a la Cart, Miss Linda's Soul Food Catering, Lil Dizzy's Café, Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant, Oceana Restaurant, Boucherie, and Squeal. An artists' village will feature artwork and crafts from regional artists and designers, all available for purchase.

NOVEMBER 3 NEW ORLEANS NIGHTS with Allen Toussaint, Nicholas Payton and The Joe Krown Trio featuring Walter "Wolfman" Washington and Russell Batiste Jr. plus Little Freddie King

Head on down to Chickie Wah Wah's (2828 Canal) tonight for the Stone River Boys at 8:00 pm....and go hungry cause there's always some yummy food cookin' up in the kitchen!!!

It's gonna be full afternoon and evening of music at the Spotted Cat with free swing dance lessons at 5:00 p.m.!!  Brett Richardson at 4:00 p.m., The Loose Marbles at 6:00 p.m., and to top off the night St. Louis Slim & The Frenchmen St. Jug Band at 10:00 p.m.!

You'll be having a good time at d.b.a. on Frenchmen Street tonight with the early evening show with the Tin Men at 7:00 pm and stay on for Walter Wolfman Washington...he comes on at 10:00 p.m....for a very small cover and he's worth it!
