Culture, Fashion and Music!

Hey Everybody,

Be sure and get your culture on this evening at the New Orleans Museum of Art for Culture Collision 2....Over 35 organizations will have tables in NOMA from 6 to 8 p.m.  Enjoy food samplings from: Ralph Brennan's Courtyard Cafe, Ralph's on the Park, Cafe Degas, Matt & Natty's and EAT New Orleans.....And don't miss performances by the Courtyard Kings!
There's also gonna be an after-party in the Sculpture Garden from 8 to 10 p.m. Featuring DJ Matty, American Sector restaurant and NOLA Brew.  Look for cash bars in the Great Hall and the Sculpture Garden. Scope out upcoming cultural events, join arts organizations...Take advantage of exclusive ticket promotions!  Giveaways courtesy of participating organizations will be ongoing throughout the evening!!

It's another Wednesday on the Point from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and of course, admission is FREE..Take the ferry right over to the concert tonight and head to the Algiers Ferry (200 Morgan) for The Iguanas and Jon Cleary for Heart & Soul this Wednesday!  Click the above link for complete concert series info!

And if you're looking for some fashion for a very good cause you're going to the Blue Nile (532 Frenchmen) this evening for Carolina Gallop's 9th Annual Fashion Designers & Artists 4 Honduras Fundraiser.....Designer Carolina Gallop presents the annual fashion show with music, entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and drinks from 7:00 pm to -11:00 pm (doors open at 6:30). $15 general admission, $20 limited reserved seating, $10 with a donation of clothing (two-item minimum). It's gonna be full afternoon and evening of music at the Spotted Cat with free swing dance lessons at 5:00 p.m.!!  Brett Richardson at 4:00 p.m., The Loose Marbles at 6:00 p.m., and to top off the night St. Louis Slim & The Frenchmen St. Jug Band at 10:00 p.m.!

You'll be having a good time at d.b.a. on Frenchmen Street tonight with Walter Wolfman Washington...he comes on at 9:00 p.m....for a very small cover and he's worth it!
