Happy Wednesday w/Fashion, Art, Sing-Alongs & Lots o' Mid-City Music!

Good Morning Everybody! Lots of fun things going on today!

Come on by the Ashé Cultural Arts Center (1712 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.) tonight for A Community Sings with Michaela Harrison at 6:00 pm - Tonight's theme is "Home" so tune up your voice, call a few friends, and come out and sing. This monthly event features a different song genre each time, with theme changes to include such topics as television theme songs, childhood favorites, songs of the sixties . . . . More Wednesday Evening Music

Hang out in Mid-City for all kinds of good stuff tonight - first stop Banks Street Bar (4401 Banks) for a double header with Micah Mckee's Songwriters' Showcase at 8:00 pm, and stay on for some Major Bacon and some FREE BLTs - tonight at 10:00 pm...you can never get enough of the bacon and no cover!!

This one's pretty darn close to Mid-City - so if you're looking for some dinner and then some music for dessert  Rock 'N Bowl (3016 S. Carrollton) can help you out!  Get an entree' over at Ye Olde College Inn and then get a half price ticket to the show right next door at Rock N' Bowl....Tonight's gonna be groovin with the piano man Joe Krown at 8:30 pm - it's another fun night of rockin' and bowlin'!!

Have more fun in Mid-City when you head on over to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) for an amazing night of music with NOLA County at 9:00 pm...and of course come early and hungry for the Taceaux Loceaux!  There's might be a cover - but the music is worth it! 

It aint's Mid-City, but there's great music this evening on Frenchmen Street tonight -d.b.a. (618 Frenchmen) has Walter "Wolfman" Washington at 10:00 pm - cover's only $5.00 and you know the Wolfman's worth it!
