Pre-Festin' and Paintin' on Tuesday!!

Happy Tuesday Everybody,

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even get some lunch!  Chef Alon is cooking each Tuesday in April at the Market.....on the menu: burrata with grilled ciabatta, local herb pesto and roasted cherry tomatoes, Mississippi shiitake mushroom soup, gnocchi carbonara with a Ryals yard egg, La Provence Berkshire pancetta and fava beans, and panna cotta with Johndale Farm strawberries, aged balsamic vinegar and almond biscotti.. ....yummy!!

Looking to get your art on this evening...well we have just the thing for you!!  It's the first ever “Bottles, Brushes and Absinthe with Degas” : A Painting and Pouring Experience at the Degas House (2306 Esplanade)!   Beginning at 6:30 PM, this one of a kind event provides artists and non-artists the opportunity to come and be inspired where Degas lived.  They’ll supply the paints, aprons, and brushes and  even one COMPLIMENTARY adult beverage. Good Stuff Tonight!

It's gonna be a great evening to hang out at the The Columns (3811 St. Charles Ave.)...Have a cocktail and listen to the amazing trio of John Rankin and Ray Moore at 8:00 pm...it's a beautiful night for moon gazing and porch sippin'!

You got to go to Mid-City tonight to Chickie Wah Wah on Canal Street to enjoy the Original French Brass Band at 5:00 pm and the amazing New Orleans Nightcrawlers at 8:00 pm!!  It's gonna be some excellent shows tonight!

For more musical fun head on over to Mid-City to the Banks Street Bar and Grill (4401 Banks) for a great night of music with The Nola Treblemakers....the show starts up at 10:00 pm!!

There's a triple header over at the Spotted Cat (623 Frenchmen) starting up at 4:00 pm with Brett Richardson, then stay on for Smokin' Time Jazz Club at 6:00 pm, and finish off the night with Meschiya Lake & The Little Big Horns at 10:00 pm!!

You need to go by the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street for the early show.  Cluck! Nite featuring Three Piece Spicy + Creole Cookin' (with some FREE food)...and make sure you stay up late for the REBIRTH!!  You'll be glad did!
