Happy Thursday with Vino, a Speakeasy, and Concerts All Around Town!

Wine Tasting and Fresh Food!

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Pearl Wine Co. (3700 Orleans) at about 5:00 pm in Mid-City. Come sample some delicious vinos and kick off your early weekend right with winemaker, Ant Moore of New Zealand & Cameron Hughes Wines! Lionheart Foods will serve their Gourmet Grilled Cheese Bar from 4:30 to 9:30 pm.....and you can stop at Clever (right next door - don't even have to walk outside) for their happy hour specials after attending the free wine tasting!  Be sure to pass by the Crescent City Farmer's Market (right outside) and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more!!

Speakeasy Fun!

Come on out this evening for The Speakeasy Jazz Party from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. It's a film noir themed launch party on the 2nd Floor of Fritzel's European Jazz Club (733 Bourbon Street) brought to you by Beyond Bourbon Tours. Wear your best Speakeasy digs, and enjoy wine, appetizers and entertainment from New Orleans' burlesque sensation, Roxie Le Rouge!

Jazz in the Park Free Concert Series kicks off this evening in Armstrong Park! PUfAP is proud to present the 2013 second season of Jazz in the Park, inside of the historic Louis Armstrong Park. The events are FREE, with an art market from Noon to 8:00 p.m., cool Jazz from Noon to 3:00 p.m., Second Line begins at 4:00 p.m., and the afternoon music kicks off at 5:30 pm - Check out the great line-up of music below!

Go hang out at City Park this evening and enjoy music from Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue for the Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series! The Honky Tonk Revue plays vintage Honky Tonk, Rockabilly and Classic Country music with a heavy dose of Western Swing.  They have a deep-seated love and appreciation for the tried and true Honky Tonk sound. Gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park out...$10 for adults.



Need a little art, culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours. Tonight the Ogden presents Robin Barnes. Barnes’s music is inspired by several genres, including jazz, soul, blues, and even a little reggae. Don't miss out on this fabulous concert! *Remember with your Ogden membership all of these excellent concerts are FREE!!
