Tuesday w/Veggies, Joan of Arc & Lots of Music!

Good morning everybody and happy Tuesday!

Farmer's Market!

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm.  After wowing us last week, Domenica is back with another equally impressive menu: grilled spring onion, romanesco and goat cheese bruschetta, grilled shrimp with fresh corn, fava bean and cherry tomato salad, chicken liver and onion frittata, buttermilk chocolate cupcakes with blackberries, and peach, blueberry, basil and mint aqua fresca. Swing by the market this Tuesday and pick up lunch, or dinner!

Exhibit of Joan of Arc Statues opens today at the Ursulines Convent with an Artist Reception from 5:00 to 8:00 pm (In honor of Joan's lifting of the Siege of Orleans - May 8, 1429)! A new exhibit of photographs of Joan of Arc statues taken throughout France by native New Orleans Alex Labry. This event is free and open to the public and the display will continue until the end of June 2012.
