Today is the 7th Annual ChazFest - New Orleans 9th Ward Music Festival - The Truck Farm Studios 3020 St. Claude Avenue. ChazFest is ten hours of nonstop music, culture and good times on two stages! Today is 3rd Annual Daze Between Festival at the @ The Rusty Nail - Bathtub Music Presents the 3rd Annual Daze Between Festival to benefit the Gulf Restoration Network at the Rusty Nail located at 1100 Constance St. The Festival will feature Fresh Louisiana Seafood, Local Crafts and a Musical Tribute to the Grateful Dead on two stages starting at 3:30PM (doors open at 2PM). Tonight Swing in the Oaks at City Park with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm - Free Admission - The concert will feature traditional classic and modern favorites that will please any and all generations of listeners. Some selections to include: Overture to Light Cavalry, Suite from Carmen, Selections from Phantom of the Opera, Strike Up the Band, Muppet Medley, Traditional New Orleans Medley, Big Band Fantasy, Irving Berlin - A Symphonic Portrait, and Stars and Stripes Forever. Bring your blanket, your wine and food and enjoy a night of music under the stars!!
