Start your weekend in the Quarter with Fridays at the French Market featuring Pierre Pichon's Gypsy Swing Trio and Washboard Chaz Blues Trio from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The concerts are a colorful invitation to locals to rediscover the historic Market while taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the new Farmers Market eateries, as well as new and familiar Flea Market vendors showcasing clothing, handmade jewelry, artwork, photography, candles and international and local crafts. It's going to be a fun time!
And this is always a fun way to kick things off. It's the weekly wine tasting over at Cork & Bottle (Orleans at Moss St.) - today they have a wine flight with wine picks from the C & B staff! The Where Y'Art? party is going on this evening over at the New Orleans Museum of Art starting at 5:30 pm with Gallery & Exhibition Tours, lots of fun activities and music!!

Head on over to Chickie Wah Wah on Canal for their happy hour at 5:00 pm and the music starts up at 5:30 pm with the Pfister Sisters and stay on for Paul Sanchez at 8:00 pm (there's a small cover for the Paul show - but he's definitely worth the dinero!)...and don't forget to come hungry cause they got yummy food going on in the kitchen!
