More Tales, Wine, and Some Marc Stone!!

Here's the Thursday fun stuff going on today!!

I'm at Tales of the Cocktail...and wish you were here come on down, and check out the Tasting Rooms - for the low low price of $45, you can spend your day trying amazing cocktails from folks from all around the country and the World!!  Click on the above link for a complete list of all the rooms today and throughout the weekend!!!

Thursday Events

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle (3700 Orlenas ) about 5:00 pm in Mid-City and the tasting is free with great choices!  And be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more! 

Need a little culture and music? You gotta go to the show at the Ogden Southern Museum of Art (925 Camp St.) - better known as Ogden after Hours.  The concert starts up at 6:00 pm. with Jeffery Hills & the Survivors Brass come on down for some music, culture and fun..don't miss it!!

Go hang out at City Park this evening for The Thursdays at Twilight Garden Concert Series with The New Orleans Ragtime Orchestra!  The gates open up at 5:00 pm and the performance starts at 6:00 pm in the City Park Botanical Garden Pavilion of the Two Sisters...There is an admission charge, but hey, it's helping the Park's a good thing...$8 for adults and $3 for children.

And you got to check this out!!!  A Live WWOZ Broadcast tonight from Carrollton Station (8140 Willow St.)!   It's the Marc Stone Band with horns, Kirk Joseph + Amanda Walker at 8:00 pm tonight -  only $7 at the door, and it's a smoke free event. Come on out and support, and if you can't make it listen online at!!
