Wine, Blues and Jazz!!

Happy Thursday,

Don't miss out on the weekly wine tasting at Cork and Bottle at about 5:00 pm in Mid-City and tasting is free...Stay on for Jumpin' Johnny Sansone at 8:00 pm...And be sure to stop by the Crescent City Farmer's Market and patronize local Louisiana vendors with fresh veggies, seafood and more! 

Head on down to The Ogden Southern Museum of Art today for Ogden after Hours.   Music starts up at 6:00 pm with the bluesy sounds of Kenny Brown, so you don't want to miss it!!  (and remember if you get down there early - go grab a cocktail at the Circle Bar on Lee's Circle...one of the best happy hours in town!)

You have to check out this amazing FREE concert....A Tribute to Idris Muhammad featuring Donald Harrison & Congo Square Nation tonight at 7:30 pm Loyola University - Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall...The master saxophonist and his band will play a Jazz Journey concert in tribute to drummer Idris Muhammad!!

Chickie Wah Wah has a great show tonight with Phil DeGruy & Michael Skinkus
at 8:00 pm...and make sure you come hungry for some yummy food!!

There's a triple header over at the Spotted Cat (623  Frenchmen) with Brett Richardson at  4:00 pm, Miss Sophie Lee at 6:00 pm and close out the night with the The New Orleans Moonshiners at 10:00 pm!!!
