Proud to Call it Home with NOLA Fun Tonight!

Happy Tuesday Everybody,

And what a beautiful day it is!!

You can get your day started off right with a trip to the Farmer's Market!!!  Visit the Crescent City's Farmer's Market at University Square (200 Broadway) from 9:00 to 1:00 pm and pick up some fresh seafood, veggies and you can even get some lunch!  1st of the season satsumas from A&K Citrus, shelled pecans from Inglewood Farm, Timmy Perilloux is back with greens galore and one of our favorite Bywater breakfast spots, Satsuma, is under the GPS tent!!

Head on over to Cork & Bottle/Clever Lounge (3700 Orleans Ave. in American Can Company) to celebrate!!  They've got a new owner, so to celebrate this "passing of the bottle" they'll be opening LOTS of bottles. Join the fun for wine, spirit and brew tastings and hors d'oeuvres by Vega Tapas Cafe!!!

Tonight head on down to Harrah's Theater from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for the relaunch of the New Orleans: Proud to Call it Home campaign!!!  There's going to be entertainment by Big Sam's Funky Nation plus free food and beverages...get 'em while they last..it's gonna be a fun night!

It's more amazing music from the Trinity Artist Series at Trinity Episcopal Church (1329 Jackson Ave.)  Tonight experience the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Chamber Music Concert featuring Dr. Jee Yeoun Ko, Joe Meyer, Matthew Ernst & John Rankin...it promises to be a wonderful evening of music!  (Concert is free, but donations of $10 are appreciated.)

This evening there's lot of fun stuff going on....

For more music fun....come on down to Chickie Wah Wah on Canal Street to enjoy John Mooney!!  Music starts about 8:00 pm and come by early to get some yummy food before the show!

If you're lookin' for some Rockin' and Bowlin' and some good food too...Have some dinner over at Ye Olde College Inn..where you'll get some yummy food and a discounted ticket to Rock 'N Bowl...right next door!!  It's James Andrews tonight...the show gets kickin' about 8:30 pm.

You need to go by the Maple Leaf Bar on Oak Street for the early show.  Cluck! Nite featuring Three Piece Spicy + Creole Cookin' (with some FREE food)...and make sure you stay up late for the REBIRTH!!  You'll be glad did!
