Beat the Football Blues with Some Monday Fun!!

Happy Monday everybody....if you need a little cheering up after our sad footbal's some fun stuff going on today!!  And this is dedicated to those of you who have the whole week off, and can stay out for some late nite know who you are ;)

Head over to Chickie Wah Wah (2828 Canal) and you will definitely be feelin' whole lot better!!  Groove to the amazing sounds of piano man extraordinaire, Jon Cleary at 8:00 pm....and of course come a little early for a very yummy dinner!!

Stick around Mid-City and go on over to the Banks Street Bar & Grill for the N'Awlins Johnnys at 9:00 pm and some free red beans and rice for your Monday night!

If you're looking for a new place to check out some great food and music....head on over to Three Muses (536 Frenchmen)...tonight Kristin Diable hosts the New Orleans Singer Songwriters Night featuring Andrew Duhon, Luke Allen, and Erin Miley at 7:00 pm!

Enjoy the lovely evening and spend some time on the Avenue at The Columns....They've got David Doucet from BeauSoleil fame, and while you're enjoying the sounds have a refreshing adult beverage.....this will surely start your evening off right!

If you're lookin' for some bluegrass music tonight you don't have to go too far to find it....Check out the Hi Ho Lounge (2239 St. Claude) and the Bluegrass Pickin' Party at 8:00 pm...there's no cover and FREE red beans at this show too!

If you love amazing burritos and great music, then BJ's Lounge (4301 Burgundy) is the place for you, because they have one mean burrito, and the incredible sounds of King James & the Special Men...the fun starts up at 10:00 pm!!!
