Last Day of Tales...What a Wonderful Time it is!

Good Morning Everybody,

Today is the last day of Tales of the if you haven't already done so, you need to get your cocktail tail out there...for just one more day of fun.

Here's the lowdown of some of the events today!

Akvinta Tasting Room - The Bonnet Carre Room
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Come experience our artistic expressions from the classic to the savory and unusual as we bring to life the flavors of the Mediterranean in our cocktails and infusions.

New Amsterdam Gin Tasting Room -The Iberville Room
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Master Mixologist Alex Ott and New Amsterdam Gin invite you enjoy cocktails inspired by the city’s Cajun flavors and to put your mixology skills to the test at the Next GINeration Cocktail Challenge!
Come at 10:30am to participate for a chance to win a fully catered private dinner or drop in to cheer on competitors! New Amsterdam’s signature New Orleans-inspired cocktails and catered breakfast treats will be served.

VeeV Poolside Eco-Lounge - Hotel Monteleone Pool
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Come join VeeV poolside at the Hotel Monteleone to relax and recharge with some delicious VeeV Açaí Spirit cocktails. VeeV will be hosting a tasting room for all you apprentices and others who have donated your time to make Tales of the Cocktail 2010 a huge success! Let us help you put your feet up (you’ve worked hard!) as you sample some eco-friendly poolside cocktails made with VeeV and enjoy all-natural pizza (it’s true – pizza that’s healthy!). Meet VeeV Founders Courtney and Carter and have a chance to personally learn in depth what VeeV is doing to not only change the spirits category, but help also save our planet one cocktail at a time.

Mezcal, Mezcal, and Mezcal Cocktails! - The Hunt Room
3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
For once the truth will not be hard to swallow! Please join us as we spread the gospel of North America’s first distilled spirit with demi-god Ron Cooper, modern Mezcal producers John Rexer and Guillermo Olguin, and Cocktails by Philip Ward. We will take you on a  journey from village to village and through time with samplings of Mezcals of  different varietals,  ages, and productions.  Cocktails will celebrate  Mezcal’s  new place on the map of the cocktail world.

And on more partay!! The Viridian Spirits Jade Absinthe Release Party at The Polo Club Lounge at the Windsor Court Hotel.....The Polo Club Lounge at the Windsor Court Hotel, partnering with Viridian Spirits, will host the U.S. launch of Jade Absinthes today from 4:30-6:30 pm. This event will be complimentary and open to the public, and will feature the complete Jade absinthe portfolio, served traditionally and in classic absinthe cocktails.

Master absinthe distiller and creator of Jade Absinthes, Ted Breaux, will be on hand to answer questions and provide tips on how best to enjoy the notorious "Green Fairy." Previously unavailable within the U.S., the Jade Absinthes represent Breaux's master craftsmanship and are world renowned for their historical accuracy and authenticity. This event will represent the first time the complete Jade absinthe portfolio is introduced and served on U.S. soil.The Viridian Spirits Jade Absinthe Release Party will also feature absinthe accoutrement displays and food that pairs well with absinthe will be served.
