Rain Rain Go Away....There's Fun Stuff Goin' On!!

Hey Everybody,

Let's hope the rain stays away for a little while....make sure to check all outdoor activities and click on the below links in case of cancellations.

It's another Wednesday on the Point from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., and of course, admission is FREE..Take the ferry right over to the concert tonight and head to the Algiers Ferry (200 Morgan) for Jon Cleary plus special guests the Mykia Jovan Duo for Wine Down Wednesday!  Click the above link for complete concert series info!

Harrison Avenue Marketplace will come to life this evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at 801 Harrison Avenue.   Please join in the neighborhood fun for delicious local food, drinks, kids activities, live music, special guests, unique arts & crafts, and so much more!!

And of course you got more music!

It's gonna be full afternoon and evening of music at the Spotted Cat with free swing dance lessons at 5:00 p.m.!!  Brett Richardson at 4:00 p.m., The Loose Marbles at 6:00 p.m., and to top off the night St. Louis Slim & The Frenchmen St. Jug Band at 10:00 p.m.!

You'll be having a good time at d.b.a. on Frenchmen Street tonight with Walter Wolfman Washington...he comes on at 9:00 p.m....for a very small cover and he's worth it!

If you're already in the Marigny (or even if you're not) make sure to stop by Mimi's in the Marigny (2601 Royal) for some Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Review's weekly show at 10:00 pm!

Head on down to Banks Street Bar (4401 Banks) for some bacon!!  Major Bacon is serving up sizzlin' blues and FREE lip-smackin' BLT SANDWICHES to patrons (while supplies last) starts at 9:30 p.m. so got get your pork fix tonight!

You can head on down to the Bayou Park Bar in Mid-City (542 S. Jeff Davis) for some Lynn Drury and Friends at 10:00 p.m....this always a fun show!!
