The 4th Annual Ernest Hemingway Celebration and Talent Contest

Members of the world famous Fleur de Tease burlesque troupe will help restore your vim and vigor with their exquisite performances
Music by members of the Ninth Ward Marching Band
Readings of Hemingway’s work by renowned local authors
Two Thrilling Contests

The 4th Annual Ernest Hemingway Dramatic Reading/Skit Contest
Draw from Hemingway’s works or use your own original inventions to bring your Hemingway-inspired alter egos to life for this pageant of awesomeness. In years past, we have been dazzled by great readings, puppet shows, improv comedy routines, and skits performed entirely with stuffed animals. We have beheld musical performances, acrobatics, clowns boxing and terrific original poetry. Whatever your special talent is, bring it to the stage and release your inner Hemingway! Great prizes lie in store for winners of numerous categories.
Hemingway Lookalike Contest
Have you got the look? We want to see it! Special prizes (not to mention enduring, manly glory) go to the winners of this contest.

If you’re interested in participating in any of the events listed above, please email Sunday. sunday.shae.parker@gmail.com
