Sunday Fun at the Children's Museum & Show Some Support with Sunpie!

Happy Sunday Everybody!


It's a Target Free Sunday at the Louisiana Children's Museum (420 Julia) all day long from Noon to 5:00 pm!! Visit the Museum for FREE this Sunday, courtesy of Target. Participate in fun, physical activities beginning at 1:00 p.m. Watch the Red Shirt Brigade perform their Let's Move dance at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Plus, enjoy a special jump-rope performance at 2:45 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes and let's get fit together!

A benefit - Rock, Ride ’n’ Rescue, featuring musical entertainment by Sunpie Barnes, tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rock ’n’ Bowl Mid-City Lanes, 3000 S. Carrollton Ave. There's gonna be a silent auction with each organization sponsoring a table, bowling, cash bar and a lot of fun. The cost is $10 per person and tickets can be purchased in advance through each organization, which will keep those admission fees. Proceeds from tickets sold at the door will be split among the groups. Organizations participating are:

Spicy Sunday!!!

Good Morning Everybody and Happy Sunday!!

Looking for something hot to do??  The best and brightest of the Hot Sauce and Gourmet Food community will be displaying and sampling their award winning products right here in the heart of Hot Sauce Country.  The Who Dat Nation is alive and kickin’ so come join the food and fun at the 2nd Annual NOLA Hot Sauce and Gourmet Food Show at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, today from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm - Tickets are only $5.00 for this fun event!!

And continue the fun with the French Market Fare Program at 2:00 pm with Aohn Burns, the publisher of the local edition of Edible Magazine, as he discusses the origin of the well known Creole tomato found in Louisiana., and music from One Mind Brass Band.   Every Sunday starting the French Market will host a series of free programs that highlight the cuisine and culinary culture of New Orleans. Expect to see cooking demos, food conversations, and musical entertainment at the French Market Fare stage in the Farmers Market, located between Ursulines and Governor Nicholls Streets

Celebrate the Spicy side of the French Market! And enter the "Walk of Flame" Hot Sauce Contest at 4:30 p.m. at the "French Market Fare" stage hosted by World Famous N'Awlins CafĂ© and Spice Emporium.
